The Art of Lighting a Wedding
We
work with a low key lighting set up on a wedding and talk about fill
flash, balancing daylight with indoor light. Using available light
indoors at the church and reception.
Bio
At the age of eight Len made his first sale of a photograph he took of
a young child, when he sold it for two shillings and six pence! In 1970
Len started to sell his images ad enter the professional photography field
in a converted upstairs room above a delicatessens. Len has been a
professional photographer for over 35 years. Owner of three studios in
Cardiff, Chepstow and Haverfordwest. Winner of man awards both in still
photography and video. In 2005 Len was awarded honorary fellowship with
SWPP.
Len has photographer over 2000 weddings, run three very successful
studios, written books, designed his own web page and brochures. He has
spent the last 10 years of his life lecturing and now runs a photography
school in Pembrokshire. Len has photographed many famous people including,
Prince Charles, Cliff Richards, Lord Callahan and Mitchelle Dotrice.
Working with Len is exciting and inspires confidence, enthusiasm which all
come from his love of photography and people. He also has such a unique
way of putting things across which is much fun at the same time being
informative.
Since joining the SWPP, Len has won Landscape photographer of the month, Digital Art photographer of the year, Wedding photographer of the month, Environmental photographer of the month and portrait photographer of the month
