He served for 15 years on the British Standards Committee for Engineering Ceramics as an Imaging Specialist. This experience has been built into the MousePushers courses provided by Pixelmix Digital Training, which were developed over a period of two years and encompass all aspects of digital imaging technology and its use in the workplace. The courses now evolve continuously as hardware develops and software is upgraded. Mike teaches photography and digital imaging at Priestley College, Warrington, was the Editor of Digital Photographer and Creative Imaging, and is currently Editor of Professional ImageMaker, the magazine of The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photograpers (SWPP). He has recently been developing methods for using colour management techniques in digital workflows.
