AN AUDIENCE WITH THE YERBURYS
THE URBAN NUDE
For over 20 years the Yerburys have been photographing classic images
of the nude and have gained a world-wide reputation for their work which

been featured in numerous books and magazines and over 250 of their images
hang in the 5* Glasshouse Hotel. Following on the success of their seminar
at last years SWPP Convention they now return with a new body of work with
a project entitled ‘THE URBAN NUDE’. This is very much a ‘work in
progress’ and will be completed for the Edinburgh International Festival
in the summer of 2006. However, they have agreed to allow members of SWPP
to get a sneak pre-view of the work in progress, to see how their original
idea for the project evolved and the various ideas they have worked with.
There will be an opportunity to ask the Yerburys about their work and they
will have several print samples for members of the convention to examine.
These will be images from previous exhibitions.
The highlight of the seminar will see them working with one of their
favourite models to create a typical Yerbury fine art image.
Bio
The Yerbury legend extends way back to 1864 when Trevor's Great Grandfather started the family business, which is still a thriving studio.
Trevor first started working for the family business in 1968 working alongside his father gaining knowledge and experience in social photography. After his fathers passing in 1979 Trevor took over the running of the studio with the help of his wife Faye.
In 1985 Trevor and Faye started to explore and concentrate their
business on 'classic nudes'. This was supported by regular fashion shots

commercial shoots for a variety of clients.
