It's Paul Callaghan , just dropped in to say " HELLO" to one and all. I'm looking forward to returning to the 2008 convention in London. For those of you who ever wondered what the judges are looking for in print competitions and panels well now is your chance. I will be covering in-depth all the necessary requirements for print of competition standards. I will also be dealing with what is needed for qualification panels and will be showing a number of slide-shows from real weddings along with an actual bridal shoot in the hotel that morning.

See you all bright and early!!

And remember, winners never quit, and quitters never win!

Paul Callaghan.

The ECS system
Heralds a new age in event photo sales and opportunity, the combined software and hardware solution provides the photographer with everything they need to run a successful, dynamic and profitable business.

Capture, most digital cameras can be used, first connect your camera to the WiFi unit that works within a 500-meter range (Maximum) of the laptop used for printing and proofing on location. When out of WiFi range, the unit worn on a belt stores the image until it connects. The camera attached WiFi unit has a 80GB internal hard drive and two CF card slots plus a bar code reader for name tagging, automatically inputting data into the image IPTC information.

Proofing, once the images are transmitted to the on location Event sales computer, the Proof on the Day software can be used to instantly print inkjet proofs with such information as, a unique image number, and website address for after sale reorders. The website marketing system provided is the DAS Photo Order system.

Print Sales on the Day, Connecting the Proof on the Day sales software to the Fuji ASK2000 Dye sub printer provides instant point of sales picture display and rapid access printing for finished photo sales.

The ECS system provides the visionary event photographer with the tools to sell on the day and on the Web for value added reorders. Ideal for Press, School picture, Wedding or Event capture.
