We read that you are advocating the idea of a bLOG. We reckon that we have been using a bLOG as part of our website for longer than almost any other UK photographer -

November 05. For us, it's the absolute crux of our marketing and, on review of our web stats, more than a third of the visitors to our web site go to the bLOG first and foremost. Being predominantly destination wedding photographers (since we live in Italy) it allows us to create a bond with our clients that a web site without a bLOG would not allow. Our clients and perspective clients read our bLOG and immediately trust us and feel that they know what we are about.
