Whether you are snowed under with work or struggling to drum up new business the dreaded word 'Stress' happens to us all at some point or other. Very few people buzz through their working world free of worries and strains. There comes a point where the mental stress become physical and we risk being unable to run our business at all.

In most cases you ARE the business. It stands or falls with you. You service your cameras, insure your premises yet you just expect your body and mind to run perfectly.

How does stress or anxiety manifest itself when it happens to you?
Headaches, neck and back pain, irritable bowel syndrome, eczema, insomnia or exhaustion? That's quite bad enough for you but add on being tetchy with family/staff/friends, plus not enjoying or even having any 'down time' and wishing you did something else. It all can become a vicious circle.

There are many ways you can deal with this, and in this interesting Masterclass Lisa North will help you to recognise the signs of stress and anxiety. You will come away with some practical ideas you can use straightaway, as well as suggestions that will require you to look at using others to help you. Case studies will be used to complement the class which give an insight into how you can help yourself.

In addition to being a professional photographer Lisa is also a very experienced, qualified Therapist, with a toolbox of skills and knowledge that gives a real insight into how you can help yourself cope with what life is throwing at you. She has personal experience of both severe physical and mental stress and can relate first hand to the problems it can cause. As well as running a high street photography studio her therapy business continues today but in a smaller format. She is now more focused on the business of photography, but she still practices one day a week.
