Taking Stock of China (Masterclass)
Friday 14 January - 10:30-12:00
John Henshall shares his experience of travel stock photography which
can provide a continuing income for you now and your heirs long after
you pass on to the 'big photographic studio in the sky'. Using the
example of travelling through China, he takes you through his shooting
technique in an entertaining and informative way. John has no delusions
about the kind of photography he needs to shoot and describes it as
'picture postcard' photography of the type demanded for editorial use in
travel guides and calendars. His message will be that you, too, can
produce this kind of work -- and travel the world and meet interesting
people while doing so.

Photo Quote: Both the grand and the intimate aspects of nature can be revealed in the expressive photograph. Both can stir enduring affirmations and discoveries, and can surely help the spectator in his search for identification with the vast world of natural beauty and the wonder surrounding him. - Ansel Adams
