Jorgen Brandt

Jorgen Brandt, ASWPP, is a Danish wedding- and portrait-photographer running a Copenhagen based studio since 1987. He started out doing advertising-photography, but is now primarily doing portraits, nude-art and weddings.

Only a few years back, around year 2000, is business was going downhill and he realised something had to happen. Business was down and his work was increasingly boring. Re-discovering the joy of photography trough an increasingly playful attitude to life, photography and business thinking, Together with the change of focus towards portraits, nude-art and weddings it made the change. He re-discovered the very basis for going in to photograph in the first place – the nude. Trough play developed at “style”, took the style into other areas and re-invented the ways to handle business.

It worked – business is up again. So is the joy of working – never better actually. And in June 2007 he moved to a new, better and bigger studio.

In his speak at the convention, Jorgen Brandt will talk on the subject “Creative play!” and how it can be used to develop your joy, style and business of photography.

Jorgen Brandt is also a Photoshop specialist, who have held several courses for Danish photographers.
