Dave Newman

swpp member Dave Newman Widely known for his “camera room” layout and design books and informative lighting and posing articles, FSWPP Dave Newman has also been designated as “Photographer of the Year” at four different annual USA conventions. England, Australia, China, Ireland, Scotland as well as Canada, Mexico and recently seven times in Korea, have been his seminar recent locations, in addition to the frequent schools and conventions in the USA. Dave taught a sold-out course again this year at Texas School of Professional Photography (worlds largest Prof Photo School). Recipient of the award Overseas Photographer of the YEAR by the SWPP. He holds a BA degree from the University of Utah and is active in teaching, training, consulting, writing and lecturing.

Dave is most noted, however, for his witty classroom approach and the admirable combination of teacher, artist and successful businessman. Few have traveled and lectured more widely.
