We apply reportage and romantic styles to create a complimentary pre wedding photobook as well as a very comprehensive record of a wedding. These include the fine touches that go into a wedding and we find those endearing informal moments. My greatest strengths: Much trouble is taken to get everything right while we look to photograph the most positive, romantic and good qualities in a wedding party. I have been in photography: I have been a keen photographer from early years and photographed weddings on film cameras for a number of years before becoming fully professional and 'digitalised' in 2008. How I got started in photography: I have always used photography with my family, business and social life. Assignments come through recommendation. My photographic skills: I am interested in helping people to create a fine photographic record through a relaxed and enjoyable experience. I like to produce photobooks and web album as well as prints and DVDs of the occasion to help keep those memories. My personality.: I take time to understand people's needs and then introduce them to creative photography which they can feel part of. While known as a team player I work towards bringing out the best in others to create something exceptional. Geographic areas I cover: Based in Haslemere we mainly travel into neighbouring counties of Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex. We have also photographed weddings in Yorkshire, Cornwall, Cumbria, Nottingham, Somerset and California! Venues I frequently attend: We look for the light and the most attractive features in all venues and locations. I found inspiration from: We take inspiration from nature and the work of artists and photographers past and present. Learning is continuous. Success in photography: Photography contributions to the table book Moods of Surrey, The National Trust and projects with Haslemere Visitors Centre. Photographic training: Alex gains further inspiration from seminars with the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers Conventions each January. My interests outside photography: Interests include nature, the countryside, travel and the good all around. Major events: Alex is married with children and one recent grandchild.
