Semi Professional My photographic style: Relaxed but thoughtful -Very contemporary. My greatest strengths: Being able to connect with clients quickly and understand the essence of what they are trying to achieve I have been in photography: 15 years -although have just been earning a living from it in the last 18months How I got started in photography: No pictures of me as a very young child (youngest of 6 children) made me want to take loads of my kids! My personality: Happy outgoing tenacious Geographic areas I cover: East Midlands based just out of Nottingham City Centre Venues I frequently attend: I've not done something yet that Id say "never again" I found inspiration from: Crash Taylor for weddings Helen Bartlet for Children’s portraiture Dorethea Lange for reportage /documentary style Success in photography: I plan to make time to enter some competitions especially now I've become a member of SWPP. My education and training just continues ( B tech got me started) I'm doing a wedding course in the next couple of weeks and looking to do some more Photoshop training this quarter My interests outside photography: Skiing, running, walking the dog, time with my family Testimonials: Yes I must ask for some of these!!! Why I like the SWPP BPPA: As I'm pretty new to it I think the main reason to join was to feel part of a community of like minded people. Also the ability to use the mentor me programme and enter some competitions.
