However it wasn't until his own wedding that he took the life-changing decision to turn his passion into a profession. He was struck by the depth of emotion conveyed in his wedding photographs and fascinated by the notion of the wedding photographer. Ten years and over 250 weddings later his camera remains firmly attached to his hand. Patrick is in no doubt that wedding and portrait photography has a real purpose, that of capturing a moment in time that can be cherished forgenerations. He is convinced that taking photos is similar to writing music (his other love after his wife and daughter that is!), in that you are creating a one-off that is designed simply to give pleasure.
