Darcy Brown Photographer providing photographic services in Darlington County Durham Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: Award winning, internationally exhibited Fine Art photographer. My greatest strengths: Black and White and artistic imagery, that something special, psychology and intellect blended with flair and cinematic influences. I have been in photography: Over 25 years. How I got started in photography: Travel, Portrait and Weddings in the days of film. My photographic skills: Friendly, great sense of humour and a love for art in all its forms, an appreciation for beauty and an ability to see images that others do not. My personality: Fun loving, friendly, confident, intelligent, having a high degree of emotional empathy and an observant eye. Geographic areas I cover: Internationally as required, dependent upon commission. I found inspiration from: Art, Music, the cinema, travel, passion, beauty in all its forms Success in photography.: LSWPP, LBPPA, Gold and Silver Awards, Honorary Fellow of the Spider Awards, Six finalist places in Spider Awards, current 'Honour of Distinction' 3rd place award for Professional Sports Category 2011 in world's leading Black and White photography awards - the Spider Awards, published in Best of Black and White Photography vol 2, Published in Photo Paper, Epsom Bronze Panoramic Competition 2010, Internationally exhibited Aug-Oct 2011 at the Lyceum Theatre, San Diego, USA as finalist in the Art of Photography show as selected by the curator of the J.Paul Getty collection. Current portfolio in New York's 3rd Ward gallery competition. Photographic training: LSWPP, LBPPA, mentored by Martin Grahame-Dunn.
