I create nostalgic, quirky, fun and informal images of babies, kids and families, and love to capture 'wild' children in their natural habitat, doing what they do best...being kids. Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: I photograph in a relaxed, candid and natural way, always preferring to capture those off the cuff moments of expression rather than artificial poses. I think more of the subject's personality comes out in the picture. My greatest strengths: I'm a great communicator with people and helping them relax in front of the camera is vital. People tell me I have a natural eye for a good photo. I have been in photography: I first put a camera in my hands when I was seven, and it's been a life-long love affair since then. My personality: Relaxed, unflappable, always up for a giggle but a perfectionist at the same time! Geographic areas I cover: My studio is near Salisbury, Wiltshire, but I cover all areas of Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and up to Oxford on location. Venues I frequently attend: I love to photograph in the fresh air, especially when photographing children - more space for everyone to run around and be themselves. I found inspiration from: Mothers who manage to juggle it all. I'm one, and I struggle! Success in photography: I currently hold a Licentiate qualification with the Master Photographers Association (MPA) My interests outside photography...: I am a keen runner and also occasionally spend some time in front of the camera modelling.
