Specialist Photographer for :-
Wedding photography

Type business: Full Time Professional

My photographic style: Attention to detail photographs captured with a minimum of fuss - always looking for the beauty of a shot. Contemporary, traditional and reportage.

My greatest strengths: Quiet organisation and helping people to relax. I love looking for unusual shots and using scenic backdrops.

I have been in photography: 15 years

How I got started in photography: Started with photographing trains and other transport, which taught me a lot about the technical side of photography as you have to be spot on to capture shots of something moving at over 100 mph!

My photographic skills: Very organised but not bossy is how my partner describes me. I

My personality: Quiet but with a sense of humour. I've been told I give people confidence.

Geographic areas I cover: Midlands and all UK

Venues I frequently attend: Moxhul Hall, Middleton Hall, The Barns, Ramada Newton Park, Somerford Hall, Ingestre Hall, The Belfry, Moor Hall, New Hall, Branston Golf Club, Ramada Orbital Plaza, Crewe Hall, Bamburgh Castle, Rowton Castle, Clearwell Castle, Tutbury Castle, Rockingham Castle, Coombe Abbey,Peckforton Castle, Alrewas Hayes, Stone Manor, The Moathouse, Hadley Park Hotel, Fairlawns, Sandon Hall, Shottle Hall, Kilworth House Hotel, Holme PIerrepont Hall, Cranage Hall, The Old School House, Shugnorough Hall, Weston Hall, Packington Moor, Swinfen Hall, Keele Hall, nailcote Hall, Leighton Hall, Whiston Hall, Tern Hill Hall, Hartham Park, Marston Farm, Oak Farm, Quorn Grange, The Mount Hotel, The Mill Hotel, Peveril of the Peak Hotel, The Terrace Hotel, The George Hotel, Rothley Court Hotel, Breadsall Priory, Alrewas Hayes, Lea Marston Golf & Leisure, Calderfields, Kingsbury Water Park, Aston Wood Golf, Beaudesert Golf, Hinckley Golf, Chase Golf, National Motorcycle Museum, Ricoh Arena, Conkers, Drayton Manor, JCB Leisure - all venues we have enjoyed working with plus many more not listed as yet!

I found inspiration from: Everything around me. I try not to copy other photographers as developing your own unique style is important but I am flexible if a couple have seen something they like.

Success in photography: Work regularly featured in magazines.

Photographic training: Can't remember the letters - need to look them up!

My interests outside photography: Film, trains (!), technology, good company, good food and real ale.

Testimonials: We love the photos and our DVD. Everyone keeps saying what a great job you did and we hardly even knew you were there. We will recommend you to all our friends for really good value for money and hope you'll come to our anniversary party next year!

30 May 2009

We knew that May 30th 2009, our wedding day, would be a unique day in our lives. Cherryl and I chose Electra to make a permanent record of the special day because we felt that Karrie and Jon were not only very professional but had a subtle method of working and would not dominate the day.

There were cheaper quotes offered but we have seen some very poor quality wedding videos and photographs and were not prepared to take the chance of ruining the everlasting reminders of a once in a lifetime event. We reasoned that the video/photograph package chosen was less than 10% of the total cost of the wedding and, apart from the wedding dress, all of the other costs are consumed on the day. We did not realise how much work Electra do after the day in selection, editing and design to produce such amazing results. We now realise what great value we got.

We are absolutely delighted with the albums and movie and have no hesitation in recommending Electra to anyone considering having a first class, permanent record of a special event.

Why I like the SWPP: The professional nature of the association, opportunities for further training andup-to0date information on trends within the industry.

Tagline: Experienced, innovative, flexible, consistent and relaxed!

Future plans: To expand the business to provide more photographic services and hopefully a studio for portrait work and to offer more and more stunning albums to provide the greatest choice and flexibility.

And finally: We also provide combine photography and Videography packages for complete coverage of your day in the most relaxed style possible so you can just enjoy your day with family and friends. Regularly featured on Sky's Wedding TV channel.
