Although inspired by the rugged beauty of landscapes, castles, and gardens throughout Northumbria, industrial scenes and commercial photography provide him with an exciting and enjoyable challenge. Tom has had a varied career having worked in the public, private and voluntary sectors where his interest in photography proved to be an asset as it enabled him to use his work in selling, training, public relations and fund-raising. His experience and skills are reflected in the range of his work from photographing a Fashion Show and other events such as British and Asian Weddings, to the contents of a Pet Suppliers Warehouse, an Open Cast Coalmine and the Coquet Valley in Northumberland. A specialist in portrait photography he has a well equipped studio in Wallsend where he also offers," The Studio Experience" a studio portrait lighting training course for beginners.
