Semi Professional Photographer My photographic style: My wedding style would be a mix of a relaxed 'formal' and reportage, whilst my portrait work is mainly on location with a relaxed fun approach. My greatest strengths: My strengths are my ability to adapt to circumstance and locations to get photographs that that capture the moment. I have been in photography: I have been a photographer for over 30 years. How I got started in photography: I've taken photographs for as long as I can remember, always looking for new challenges and learning new techniques My photographic skills: Being able to visualise the photograph I want to take and being able to make people feel comfortable. My personality: I'm a relax, happy person who enjoys the company of people and is driven to get the required results. Geographic areas I cover: Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire Venues I frequently attend: The next venue is always the best as it can bring new challenges. I found inspiration from: Eve Arnold, Damien McGillicuddy, David Bailey Success in photography: I Won the Marwell Wildlife 2010 photographer of the year residents section, runner up overall. Highly recommended 2011 same competition. I have been published in Photography Monthly. Reached the final 24 in the Nikon Photographer of the year challenge in 2009 Photographic training: Achieved my Licentiate with The Royal Photographic Society. Achieved my Diploma with the Institute of Professional Photography. Attended wedding workshops with Terry Hewlett and Damien McGillicuddy My interests outside photography: Football, theatre, films, eating... Major events: Getting Married, taking early severance from my job to follow my passion into photography.
