John Devlin has an Exhibition here. Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: Relaxed and Informal with a mix of classic contemporary posing. My greatest strengths: Attitude. The ability to get on with people instantly. My love and passion for photography and people. I have been in photography: Taking pictures for 21 year. Photography business for 18 year How I got started in photography: Wife bought me my first camera. Eventually photographing family and friends weddings. Studied at college. My photographic skills: Getting it right every time with no fuss. Confident attitude and experience. My personality: Ready for a laugh with an easy going outlook. Buckle down and serious when required. Geographic areas I cover: North East England Venues I frequently attend: All the major Halls in the area. In particular those who accommodate only one wedding per day. The smaller venues are always a good challenge and make you think about your photography. Our experience pulls us through any location. I found inspiration from: All the big names in the business. The biggest one's internationally is Jerry Ghionis, Yervant, Joe Busuink. So many in the UK to mention but the Yerbury's, Gordon McGowan, Julia Boggio etc. Success in photography: Winner of one the SWPP weekly competition's last year. Licentiate with the MPA (Sorry). Oh and the usual clutch of camera club stuff Photographic training: 'O' level & 'A' level in photography many moons ago. My interests outside photography: Hiking Major events: Married to my beautiful wife Susan. Two son's and one gorgeous granddaughter. Lived in South Africa for 3 1/2 year.
