I shoot Weddings, Family Portraits and Events. I offer a nationwide service. If you are soon to be married and really value the art of photography I can offer a service that will document your special day in ‘true’ reportage fashion. Now when I say ‘reportage, I do not mean generic head shots of all of your guests, as I feel this method of photography is both lifeless and uninspiring. ‘True’ reportage photography should be journalistic in style and depict ultimately a story from beginning to end. This photographic philosophy is what I pride myself on. If you want a smiley head shot of every one of your guests plus 30 formal line ups, I’m probably not the photographer for you. However if you want images that are timeless, images that convey a mood, a feeling and essentially form a narrative then I would be honoured to document your wedding. I refrain from using obtrusive zoom lenses that create an unimaginative photographer. Instead I use only Canon prime lenses that are subtle and enable me to think more about composition and create a more organic collection of images that you will cherish forever. I like to be part of the action not a guy in the corner with the massive lens picking people off at random. So whether you’re having a Traditional Wedding, a Civil Wedding or an Asian Wedding please browse my site and get in touch. I also love shooting Family portraiture. I am a proud father and I know how important it is to get stylish and accurate depictions of your family. I find photographing children an exciting challenge but once achieved the results can be stunning. I aim to capture all those little quirks that make you and your family so unique which in turn will create a series of images that you will look back on for years to come. My pictures do not date. I always use available light and avoid using that generic ‘white background’. I have a background in Performing Arts so I know how important it is for a story to be told in a simple but unique way.
