My greatest strengths: The ability to interpret the clients requirements into photographs that they will enjoy. I have been in photography: I have been a photographer for over 40 years, initially as a keen amateur, through semi professional and finally a full time professional. How I got started in photography: I started purely by accident when a photographer friend could not shoot a wedding and asked if I would like to do it. My photographic skills: Being able to catch the feeling of the occasion in a photograph My personality: Friendly and relaxed, very much a people person. Geographic areas I cover: South Wales mainly but will travel to other areas if required Venues I frequently attend: I have to make the most of all locations I find myself in but if the location has character then so much the better. I found inspiration from: If I look at a photograph and really like it then that inspires me. Photographic training: Initial college training in darkroom and studio skills plus many courses and seminars since then. My interests outside photography...: Motor racing, amateur dramatics, home and family - not necessarily in that order Why I like the SWPP: The society is focused on the needs of the photographers it serves.
