AVA Images was created in the summer of 2007 by husband and wife team, Nick and Hannah (and our one year old apprentice Bill). Both Nick and Hannah were well established wedding photographers in their own right before meeting, joining forces and getting married.

Hannah graduated from University with a BA(Hons) degree in Documentary Photography in 1999. Since then she has worked in both London and the West Country as a portrait and studio photographer and has been a freelance wedding photographer for over seven years. Nick (who comes from a family of wedding photographers) specialises mainly in studio portraits and is also a very experienced wedding photographer, with over 100 weddings under his belt. Computer work is his forte and he has a passion for all aspects of image making.

Ava Images is based in Newton Abbot and covers all areas of the South West. We offer a professional and unobtrusive style of photography. Our aim is to blend in with your guests which enables us to capture the atmosphere of your special day as it unfolds.
