I particularly like portraiture and the technical challenges of effective lighting. My greatest strengths: I am very focussed and work hard to make sure the client are 100% satisfied. I have been in photography: I bought my first digital SLR in 2006 and have been learning about the art and craft of photography ever since! How I got started in photography: A good friend introduced me to photography. My photographic skills: I enjoy challenging myself, but also trying to be creative in what I can produce photographically. I have certain preferred locations and layouts but I particularly love to experiment! My personality: I am curious! I am always asking questions and am a bit of sponge for information, tips and criticism! I am a pretty outgoing person and work hard to create interesting images. Geographic areas I cover: Dublin, and around Ireland. Venues I frequently attend: Outdoor shoots are perhaps my favourite, but I tend to work a lot in my portable studio. I found inspiration from: Nature, curious people and creative types! Success in photography: I'm still working on that one! Photographic training: None - I'm completely self-taught but will be investing in portraiture training later this year. My interests outside photography: My other passion is helping people, I am a fully qualified, accredited counsellor and sometimes find these skills are invaluable to me when working with people! Why I like the SWPP.: Inspiration - seeing the work of other people is a wonderful help. Also, I intend to make good use of the Mentorship program with The Society. Future plans: Two objectives; to build up my business and to craft at least one gorgeous image per quarter.
