Alyson Hallam has an Exhibition here. Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: I pride myself on having the ability as a wedding photographer to document the story of the day, great wedding photography tells stories. I focus on the relationship between people and catch the moments of that day forever. I capture the whole day from getting ready right through to the first dance. My style of wedding photography includes some posed shots if you prefer, but mainly I generally flow with the wedding uninterrupted, leaving you to enjoy your special day. This way I am able to capture expressions and emotions of yourselves and your guests. My greatest strengths: Working with people, I just love the human race, we are a fascinating subject and we all bring something so different to this wonderful world we live in, everyone has a great story to tell and I love to listen - watch - learn and document in pictures. I have been in photography: I have been a photographer too many years to give away my age, I studied back in the 80's and learnt photography with film and darkroom, this knowledge has been with me all my life and played a massive part in the digital work I do now. How I got started in photography: I started my passion for photography as a young child, I soon realised that one photo capture the memory of a whole day or event. My photographic skills: My forte I would say is portrait, I just love people, we are all fabulous, and I just develop a rapport with my subject so naturally, I have the ability to gain confidence from someone, and with that we get fantastic results. My personality: My personality is massive, I would like you to picture Dawn French, I am her double I hear it whispered in the background so often, and for the best bit, just as funny, and the drawback, not a Vicar, I can't Marry you! Shame really would have been a great package. Geographic areas I cover: I cover the whole of West Yorkshire, I do consider further afield with the Elite plus package. I found inspiration from: I have my favourite photographers, but my ultimate photographer is Elliot Erwitt, I love his style and quirky angles on how he views the world, he puts himself in his subjects eyes and I see that from all his work, and the great thing about his work he owns a sense of humour. Success in photography: Professional photographers Diploma [LI]NCFE L4 Accredited. 5 X City & Guilds, Portrait, Landscape, Social Documentary, Media, Black & White. NCFE L 3 X 3 Portrait, Digital Manipulation, Landscape. Photographic training: I also teach photography. My interests outside photography: I love the outdoors, very early mornings especially, such a serene time to listen and observe other life on earth. Major events: I have 3 Beautiful grown up girls, I am so proud of them, they inspired my photography from the moment they were born.
