My greatest strengths: I approached my photography a little differently. Instead of trying to take photos OF something or somebody I want to take photos ABOUT something or someone. I hope my work is able to show what I mean. I have been in photography: since 1980's How I got started in photography: I have started photography, when my father established a darkroom in the attic at home. He gave me a Russian Zenith Camera and I quickly took a liking to it, shooting pictures of all my friends and school events. My photographic skills: having a good enough camera doesn't do all the job. In contrast, if I have a DSLR and if I don't know how to use it, it means even worse shots than I could get with a compact camera. My personality: focused on one task at a time, more cautious and hesitant, focused on ideas, concepts, and inner impressions Geographic areas I cover: England, Scotland, Ireland, Poland, Czech Republic Venues I frequently attend: Ireland I found inspiration from: My dad, my brother Success in photography: a couple of weddings. Advertisement of myself by word of mouth. Photographic training: self-taught person My interests outside photography: travelling, books, languages Major events: on-coming wedding event of my brother.
