Michael Hayes has an Exhibition here. Just out of interest would you like me to post to you a copy of our magazine professional Imagemaker? My business is a small but personal one which is run by my wife Joan and myself Michael. We are located in the beautiful north county Dublin seaside area of Portmarnock. The areas we work in are Weddings, Portraiture, Forensic/Scientific. We pride ourselves in giving 110% and no detail is too small. Our motivation is driven by clients needs and their satisfaction. . Type business: Full Time Professional. . My photographic style: My style would be quiet and unassuming. I work hard to ensure that the client gets what they want and a lot more besides whether its in the area of Weddings, Corporate, or Medical/Scientific photography.. . My greatest strengths: My greatest strength is the way I interact with people. I genuinely like and trust people. Also, my attention to detail is exceptional, before, during and after a shoot.. . I have been in photography: I have been a professional photographer for about eight years now. I have been a serious Amateur for just over thirty years.. . How I got started in photography: I was fascinated always with my mothers early roll film camera. I purchased my first camera when I was 13 and took it on my first holiday abroad.. . My photographic skills.: Other than being able to relax people and photograph them in a pleasing manner, my key skills and abilities are in the area of planning and the technical side of photography. I have a special passion for Macro Photography and also do some Forensic work too.. . My personality: My personality is reserved but determined. I always achieve my targets without bullying or annoying anybody.. . Geographic areas I cover: I cover North County Dublin, County Meath, County Louth and Cavan. However, I have worked in other areas in Ireland when the need arose.. . Venues I frequently attend: I love covering weddings in The Knightbrook Hotel Co. Meath ,Cabra Castle in Co. Cavan and Portmarnock Hotel in County Dublin. But also my home, where I do all portrait, Medical and scientific photography there.. . I found inspiration from: I am inspired by anything visually interesting and by any photographer who produces visually interesting photographs.. . Success in photography: I was awarded International Science and Nature Photographer of the year by the SWPP/BPPA in 2007.. . Photographic training: I am mainly self thought with many attendances at conventions and seminars. I hold a science degree from the National University of Ireland, which is a great help for my Scientific, Medical and Forensic work.. . My interests outside photography: I am interested in computers, Cars, and Dressage.. . Testimonials: To date its fair to say that any of my clients would give a positive account of me and my work. On request there would be no problem in anybody contacting previous clients. . Why I like the SWPP BPPA: I just love the way the SWPP work. There is no red tape or nonsense, if you need to speak to someone they are always there on the other end of a phone or P.C. . Future plans: My plans are to continue to work, learn and serve people well who hire my services.
