I like the sensation of being able to freeze time with my camera, and have absolute control with what I want people to see in my images. I love to explore and almost always push the limits of my technical know-how. I am nuts in experimenting settings, and no holds barred in taking risks at exposures and angles. Technically detailed I am when it comes to my shots, but somewhat purist, in a sense that I just follow my basic instinct when it comes to my subject. A good image for me is the kind that tells you a story or takes you to places. So whenever you shoot, always give it your best. Because my best shot has taken me thousands of miles away from the farthest tip of Mindanao to Dubai. Dino Kintanar, winner of Postscripts from Mindanao Photo Competition 2009, explores Dubai and the seven Emirates of UAE, as part of his prize pot in winning the grand prix.
