Albert BC Lam is a Singapore – based award winning photographer who has been practicing professional photography since 1990. A professional master-photographer par excellence. (HonFSCPS, FMPA(UK), FSWPP(UK), DipPP(UK), he started his own practice, the Albert Lam Studio in 1990. He has photographed for clients ranging from the hospitality to industrial sector and has won numerous awards for them with his photography being featured in magazines and publications world-wide. Lam’s achievements include being awarded the Master Architecture Photographer Of The Year in 2009, the British Professional Photography Award Overseas Event Photographer 2008, the British Professional Photography Award International Portrait Photographer Of The Year 2007, the British Professional Photography Award-Avant-Garde Photographer 2007, the British Professional Photography Award Press & PR Photographer 2007, the Singapore Master Photographer Of The Year 2006 and the Overseas Master Commercial Photographer Of The Year 2000, Fellowship Distinctions with the Master Photographers’ Association UK in Illustrative in 2006, Fellowship Distinctions with the Society Of Weddings & Portrait Photographers UK, Honorary Fellowship with the Singapore Colour Photographic Society in 2003, Overseas Diploma in Professional Photography Practice (UK) in 2003 and 4 Associate Distinctions with the Master Photographers’ Association UK in Architecture, Commercial, Portraiture and Performing Arts. ). Lam possesses an intuitive gift and talent that are honed by more than 20 years of professional photographic experience behind his cameras. Lam is renowned for excellence in technique, lighting and composition. His creativity and understanding of the art of professional photography is extended with his masterful approach to architecture, portraiture and commercial stills. Lam applies a wide range of camera formats as deemed fit to produce works to suit clients' requirements. The depth and detailing of each piece of work is a telling hallmark of his passion and understanding of the medium, subject matter and visual depiction of his composition.
