Mackenzie Photography is based in Dunfermline and their work covers a wide genre of photography from weddings and portraits to commercial and Fineart landscapes. Andrew Mackenzie, who started his career in television, moved back home from London to set up this company. He has a passion for photography that is clearly demonstrated throughout his work and he develops his own style to complement his clients ideas. His clients range from the BBC to the fine art paper giant Hahnemühle FineArt. "My style of wedding photography is a mix of documentary, editorial and fine art photography. I share an interest in the interplay between people, events and locations and I work quickly and unobtrusively with minimal interference. I anticipate and react to moments that capture and tell the story, reveal the characters and preserve the context of the day. I don’t take over your day but try to stay in the background and capture special moments that make up your wedding day. For some, the photographs will be all that remain beyond the actual experience. My photography documents the real moments, allowing you to re-live the most important day of your life again and again. I am based in the east of Scotland but I am available for wedding photography throughout the UK and also for International weddings, depending on dates and location."
