I talk to the client and listen to what they want. So it can be modern with high contrast and vivid colours, or it can be traditional with soft tones and warm colours. My greatest strengths: Lots of experience and an ability to determine what a client visualises as the picture they want. I take a pretty good photograph too!! I have been in photography: Since I was 13 when my father gave me a Kodak Coloursnap 35 camera. I've been professional since I was 18 - sometimes full time, sometimes part time, but I've always been a photographer How I got started in photography: I met up with a friend of a friend who was a commercial photographer, and we set up a part time wedding photography business. My personality: Relaxed, amiable yet capable and determined. Geographic areas I cover: Beds, Bucks, Herts and Northants. Anywhere else as well but there's a mileage cost. Venues I frequently attend: My studio and quiet places that are warm with hazy sunshine! Photographic training: City & Guilds Advanced General Photography, done many years ago but then the laws of physics and optics don't change. And keeping my eyes open to see what other photographers are doing! My interests outside photography: Motorcycle touring, martial arts, music. Why I like the SWPP: The high quality and proliferation of images in the submissions and competitions. Tagline: Makes it look too easy! Future plans: To go where life takes me and enjoying the ride.
