Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: Contemporary, relaxed My greatest strengths: Imagination, creativity and enthusiasm to try new things I have been in photography: I worked in photography for approximately ten years after leaving art school. I then changed career to insurance and finance, following redundancy at the beginning of 2010 I have returned to photography, this time setting up my own business. How I got started in photography: I studied illustration at art school in Bournemouth and learnt photography as part of the curriculum. I found the a camera suited me far better than a paint brush! After leaving I developed my skills over several years and worked for studios in Wimborne and Andover as well as for myself My photographic skills: Technical skills, attention to detail, able to get along with people My personality: Relaxed but meticulous - I plan for everything, reasonably adventurous Geographic areas I cover: Dorset, Hampshire, Southern England Venues I frequently attend: Weddings: Country Houses, relaxed civil ceremonies, Portraits, studio, location portraiture (Dorset has some great scenery) I found inspiration from: Travel, sunshine, experiencing new things, always on the look out for new ideas. Photographic training: I learnt photography as part of my course at art school in Bournemouth, more recently I have trained with Paul Brooks at the Brooks School of Photography Future plans: I currently have a small studio at home and I'm hoping to expand into premises next year.
