Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: Fun relaxed and exciting styles presented to clients expectations. My greatest strengths: I am a people person and enjoy the interaction with my customers and clients. I think this shows in the portraits. I have been in photography: Full time for 6 years How I got started in photography: Photographed a friends wedding. It was a small affair and I used medium format. so there were no reportage style evident at that time. I really enjoyed it the photos were ok as well and they made a lovely wedding present. My photographic skills: Engage with people find out what styles and type of images they really want. Connecting with my clients is the most important skill I use because they have to trust me and love thee images. My personality: easy going and always reassuring my clients. we have a lot of fun. Geographic areas I cover: My studio is in north Nottinghamshire so Nott's, derby's and south york's are all only a short drive away Venues I frequently attend: Most of my portraits are studio based. We promote some location sessions during the summer. There are lots of great landmarks nearby like Clumber park or Newstead abbey. Weddings are diferent and we travel most places for the right wedding. I found inspiration from: In photography Adams, Bresson to Bailey and Clarke. Success in photography: I have attained a few gold awards from the SWPP Photographic training: In house training for 5 years with a large photographic organisation. Attended many many courses with great photographers like Lovegrove, Yerbury and Cleghorn. My interests outside photography: I love getting down to the river for some trout fishing. I enjoy golf , but I don't seem to get enough practice. I constantly read fiction and non-fiction. Major events: married with two amazing children Nell & Tom. Not even a penny Future plans: As I love this career so much I really can't see myself stopping. So to grow the studio and create many happy clients in my area.
