Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: modern, relaxed My greatest strengths: Communicating and making people feel relaxed. I have been in photography: 4 yrs as a professional photographer. How I got started in photography: I decided to start a business as a professional photographer after a lifelong passion for photography. My photographic skills: I'm not a big talker, but I do love talking to people to put them at ease with getting their pictures taken. As well as an understanding of light and technique, this personal communication is the essence to creating images. These are qualities I take to every wedding, pre-wedding, contemporary and creative photographic opportunity to leave my client with a feeling that they have enjoyed their experience, felt respected and been treated well so that they are left with fun creative images that they will cherish and love. Overall winner for the APS Advanced Digital Image League for 2008-2009. Won the Your View category for the 2007 Landscape Photographer of the Year competition founded by Charlie Waite, a respected landscape photographer. Certificate of Merit for the Scottish International Salon Competition in 2007. Best overall picture for the APS annual exhibition of prints in 2006. First Prize for the APS Jessops open photographic competition in 2006. Commended print in the colour print category for the APS annual exhibition of prints in 2006. Best colour print for the Ayr Photographic Society (APS) annual exhibition of prints in 2005. Reached the status of 1 of 10 finalists selected from 6000 entrants for the 2005 Wanderlust Travel Magazine Photographic Competition in Earls Court, London. Awarded first prize, out of 500 entrants in a British Canals and Waterways Competition in 2004. Photographic training: HND in photography and digital imaging. My interests outside photography: Cycling and ski-ing Testimonials: After being recommended to meet Graeme as our photographer, we arranged to meet him to view his work. From the moment we met we were not disappointed as his portfolio was excellent. Picking the right photographer is key to how the rest of your day goes. Graeme arranged a pre-wedding photoshoot to allow us to get used to his photography style . This was a first for us and was a great idea. The photographs he took of us for the pre-wedding photoshoot were outstanding and certainly put our minds at ease about our big day. Finally onto the wedding day itself where Graeme was there to meet us on our arrival at the hotel. He captured what we were looking for as the photos were relaxed and extremely high quality. I would certainly recommend Graeme for anyone s wedding or even if you have a special occasion you would like to capture. Thank you very much Graeme.
