Stuart Runham has an Exhibition here. I took a leap of faith in 2009, finally becoming a full time professional after 25 years as a hobbyist. I started out in portraiture but rapidly moved into fashion and now specialise in burlesque, vintage and pin-up photography though also provide commercial photographic services. Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: Glamorous and elegant My greatest strengths: Use of light, good eye for composition, creativity I have been in photography: 25 years as a serious photographer, 2 years as a full time pro How I got started in photography: Started off in aviation photography (through my then job) with a passion for landscape photography. Gradually built up portrait work through family and friends with the odd wedding then had an opportunity to see if I could make it full time which I leapt at. My personality: Friendly, confident, relaxed Geographic areas I cover: Bedford and surrounding areas, Milton Keynes, London Venues I frequently attend: Anything with a vintage or old time ambience, locations with great natural light I found inspiration from: I have a love of landscape photography and I try and incorporate landscape techniques and tricks into creating amazing portraits or fashion shots Photographic training: Self Taught My interests outside photography: Burlesque, The outdoors, books Major events: Burlesque, community events organisation Testimonials: Stuart worked with myself in December 2010 on a youth campaign based on nostalgia and youth self-esteem. He was extremely professional while working with the models and he generated high quality images that achieved the brief for our campaign. Not only was his work of a high standard but he was extremely efficient in supplying me with copies and edits of the images following the photography shoot.
