Services Provided Celynnen Photography provides quality portrait photography, wedding photography, commercial photography, glamour photography, nature photography and still life photography. Origins Celynnen Photography unofficially started in November 2004 when Ioan, a keen photographer for over 10 years and originally from Montreal was unable to find Christmas cards in the Welsh language, which he wanted to share with his family back home. So decided to make one! First, he needed an image he felt was representative of the season. One cold morning, he stumbled upon a holly tree next to Valle Crucis Abbey in Llangollen. An edited version of a frosty holly leaf was the first Christmas card produced by then unnamed Celynnen Photography. As a joke, Ioan and Nicola decided not to tell their family and friends that they were behind the design so they felt they need to apply a logo, name and company informations at the back of the card. The card being a holly, Nicola and Ioan chose the Welsh word for holly which is: Celynnen![1] The name stuck ever since even though now, Celynnen Photography's main clientele is comprised of Bed and Breakfast establishments, parents of young children, aspiring models and soon to be married couples.
