Robert Scott Photographer providing photographic services in York North Yorkshire Type business: Full Time Professional My photographic style: Creative, Fun, Traditional, Reportage My greatest strengths: Great people skills and attention to detail. We actively encourage photography enthusiasts, this year alone we have 6 work experience students - it's great fun to share the passion I have been in photography: 25 years as a keen photographer, 5 years as a professional How I got started in photography: After 30 years in Blue Chip corporate with BT, EDS, SmithKline Beecham etc I decided to follow one of my passions in life. We've worked very hard to establish the business and develop it to it's current level. We love what we do, and clients do to My photographic skills: Artistic, accessible and focused on our clients needs. My personality: open, helpful and caring Geographic areas I cover: Yorkshire mainly, Nottingham. But we take on work all over the UK and sometimes abroad. Furthest wedding this year is Cyprus Venues I frequently attend: All really. We do a lot of theatre, rock concert work, but we are open to all to be honest I found inspiration from: Gary Edwards, our mentor and trainer - he worked with David Bailey for 25 years and knows his stuff. The birth of my daughters, which sounds a bit cheesy, but if you know me, you know its true. Photographing Niall Quinn for GC Magazine was also 'major'. Passing my driving test (seriously, it gave me the freedom to explore and discover) I've won loads of business awards from my previous life. Testimonials: "you were brilliant on our wedding day.
