Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: Photographic Artist who brings his love of Fine Art photography into his lifestyle portrait and wedding photography. I have a love of Black and White which allows me to explore texture without the confusion of colour. My greatest strengths: To turn an ordinary image into art. I can help you choose the correct type of image to complement our interior design, I also love people and find it easy to put them at their ease. I have been in photography: I have been a photographer for over 30 years but a professional only the last three How I got started in photography: The Camera Club at School! in 1976 My photographic skills: Getting the right image. I have an eye for a good Black and White shot. I can spot a good fine art image for a portrait My personality: Outgoing and Friendly Geographic areas I cover: Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire South Yorkshire. Venues I frequently attend: Any venue has something about it that can make a good shot, my job is to find it! I found inspiration from: What - Taking an image that creates an emotion Who - Yousuf Karsh - The Canadian photographer behind some of the iconic images of the mid twentieth century such as Audrey Hepburn and Winston Churchill; Annie Leibovitz - The superb American Photographer and Finally Tamara Peel the Fine Art and Portrait Photographer based in the UK who I have had the honour of being trained by. Photographic training: Training at The Peak Photo Centre un Simon Watkinson and the Annabel Williams Photographic School in the Lakes My interests outside photography: I love to learn and I am currently studying for a BA in English Literature and Language Why I like the SWPP BPPA: The networking with other photographers.
