Type business: Full time professional photographer My photographic style: Gavin has an unquenched passion for photographing people which has ultimately led him to specialise in portraits, weddings and fashion. With Gavin, every photo session or assignment is a unique experience. My greatest strengths: One of his major strengths is working with and coaching people, and he understands that most clients are nervous of having their photograph taken. It is his belief that the photographer's job is to get the client to be the very best that they can be on the day and that this is crucial to making great images. I have been in photography: Gavin has been a photographer for over 25 years. How I got started in photography: Since the day he was given his first SLR on his 18th birthday, Gavin has grown what originally started as a hobby into a serious interest before turning semi-professional in 2008. My photographic skills: He is equally at home working with the sheer beauty of natural light, the subtle moodiness of low light, and the creative flexibility of studio light, whether it be on location or in the comfort of your own home. Geographic areas I cover: Gavin is Based in Guildford and covers most of Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex. He also does a lot of work and assignments in London. Venues I frequently attend: With a preference for working on location, Gavin will adapt each photoshoot to make the most of the environment. This adds both freshness and variety to his work whether it be a stately home, gothic church, derelict warehouse, ruined castle or simply a park or the beach.
