Hi My name is John Turton, a photographer from down under, specifically NSW in the beautiful Hunter Valley, famous for its beaches, lakes, rain forests, vineyards, mountains, sporting heroes, talented musicians, fine wine and a beautiful destination for your dream wedding. Just a 2 hour drive north of Sydney it's the perfect region for your special day, honeymoon and all the indulgence you can handle. I've lived my entire life in the region and have honed my photographic skills for over 20 years shooting weddings, portraits, sport and commercial assignments for discerning clients. I am an active member of the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photographers) and SWPP & BPPA, ensuring I meet my self imposed high professional standards. Ever curious and on a permanent quest to improve and move with the times, I regularly attend seminars held by industry leaders, AIPP conferences both locally and interstate and rarely go anywhere without a camera. My style is less posed and more spontaneous. I tell my clients “I shoot what I see” leading to an uninterupted, fun and natural look to your wedding images. My clients are always surprised at the many beautiful photos they didn't know were even being taken!
