About Me
As brief as I can be, my name is Barney Walters I am a wedding and portrait
photography based in the South West of the UK. I photograph wedding's all over
the UK and mainly shoot portraits in Cornwall and Devon but I am happy to travel
further afield.
When not holding a camera, sat at the computer or driving up and down the
country, your likely to find me planning my next adventure over seas or a skiing
holiday with friends and family. I am a very keen traveller and over the past 3
years I have travelled from Paris to Rome, Brugge to Geneva, Las Cristianos to
Prague and London to New York, to name a few.
My Style
I am no dull photographer stuck in my ways of only shooting 'posed' pictures.
Neither am I a 'documentary' photographer that won't interact with you all day
long. Both of these extremes, are in my opinion, a complete let down to both you
and your wedding photographs.
The weddings I photograph are about a delicate balance of the two. I have heard
stories where by a couple are given hundreds of wedding pictures but not one
posed picture of them both together. I have heard even more stories, where by a
wedding photograph has taken the newly weds away from the quests for over an
hour for a few measly unadventurous pictures on the estate grounds, beach or
cliff top. This is not me, and hopefully my pictures and previous clients are
