Another Record Month for SWPP & BPPA Web Site

January 2007 started off with an 'all time high' for our web site, serving up a staggering 690,000 pages, with over 100,000 unique visitors.

Many of the visitors being consumers looking for photographers to cover a variety assignments.

Numerous members have reported excellent referrals from the site.  Though ot appears that those who have submitted a photo of themselves for inclusion and some editorial for their pages get a better response.

Monthly Print Competition

Just opened February's Competition and already images are being uploaded.  January saw 1186 entries which is well up on the previous January's submissions.

However there is no reason why we cannot expect to see even more.  All images are scored, (January's will be judged this week) and the winning prints go forward to our annual judging and are printed in Professional Imagemaker giving those who do well plenty of kudos.

Results will be announced Thursday

Do remember though to title your images correctly though, instructions can be found on our web site: CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS

Proving that it matters little where you are, Graham Reading uploads his entries while waiting for the coach to take him back to the airport after attending this years successful PTO in Morocco.

Mentor Me At Focus on Imaging

Following the demand at the this years Convention we will be running one-to-one Mentor me sessions at Focus.  It is essential that you book your time slot in advance to please telephone our office )01745 356935) to book

Record Month for Recruitment

Well over 300 new members joined the SWPP & BPPA in January bringing our member ship number virtually up to the 5000 mark.

February has also got off to a good start with yet another NEW RECORD, that is for altitude! Returning from PTO 30,000 feet above sea level Rachel Barnes LSWPP registered and we welcome her aboard.

Just to prove though that we continue to strive to find new members wherever we go myself (Phil), Juliet and Lucy set of on another mission.

And before anyone ask, yes the Camels survived :-)

More pictures from PTO in Morocco will be uploaded later this week so do watch this space.
