Basic Studio Lighting (Book)

A guide to mastering the complexities of one of the most important aspects of making a photograph: proper lighting. The author explores how to use equipment properly and suggests ways of utilising colour and light to create special effects. He also discusses exposures, accent lighting, backgrounds, set-ups and many other studio techniques. Such techniques are often illustrated with colour photographs in a step-by-step manner.

Location Lighting (DVD)

In location lighting, you’ll go out of the studio with Tony as he photographs a variety of subjects including a dramatic light shot of an airplane, a more traditional executive on location and a few outdoor portraits. He’ll discuss and illustrate working with flash outdoors, working with direct sunlight and working with a busy executive.

Studio Lighting (DVD)

In studio lighting, you’ll go in to the studio with Tony as he photographs a variety of subjects including a dramatic glamour image, a more traditional head shot and a fun picture teaching how to “paint with light”. Corbell discusses in detail the theory of light quality based on the size of the source and how it relates to the distance to the subject. Tony also discussed different light shaping devices.
