New product from Colab

Colab, the Midlands leading Professional Photographic Laboratory have launched their latest creation in their Finished Products range.

With a choice of two delightfully crafted products Colab’s Impressions range is “Set to become an industry favourite” claimed Sales and Marketing Director Derek Poulston, he continued “We set out to create new and innovative finished products and came up with our Impressions range aimed at the Wedding and portrait market. We are delighted with the result and we are confident our customers will be too”

Having produced a high quality photograph, the image is then sealed with a Leather Effect seal before being laid over a former to create a surrounding border. With a technique Poulston wouldn’t divulge the image is then sucked or pressed into the central majority part of the print giving a subtle framed effect yet with the image being unbroken. At this point the photographer chooses whether to opt for the Wrapped or Framed version. The Leather Wrap Impression is then finished off much like the Canvas wrap product we have all become used to by being wrapped around a block offering a three-dimensional look. The Floating Impression has the block mounted print placed into a deep Floating frame which comes with a choice of four natural colours.

Both versions come with their own unique hanging kit solutions. Impressions compliments Colab’s existing Finished Products such as the traditional Canvas Bonded prints, Canvas/Leather Effects, Canvas Wraps, Floating Frames and their Frosted Surround Acrylic Frames.
