DELKIN DEVICESŪ RAMPS UP SPEED OF eFILMŪ COMPACTFLASH PRO TO 150X

Poway, CA. September 22, 2006- Delkin Devices, Inc., makers of high quality digital photography products and accessories today announced it will increase the performance of its popular line of high-speed eFilm PRO CompactFlash memory card to 150X and ship the speedier cards by mid-October.  The PRO CompactFlash card comes in the Type I format, the most popular and versatile format for today’s digital SLR cameras.  Delkin’s Lifetime warranty, which the company has backed for twice as many years as most of its competitors have been in business, will apply.

The 150X performance enables professional and advanced amateur photographers working with ever-increasing file sizes to keep pace with the digital workflow process.  Delkin’s enhanced PRO card clocks in with transfer speeds of up to 22.5 MB per second, and is currently available in capacities of 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB.  This combination of high speed, high capacity and reliability places Delkin at the cutting edge of performance

“Professional and prosumer photographers like to shoot in RAW format.  That creates huge files the camera has to transfer to the card, and the card to the computer,” Marketing Manager Eric Richter said.  “Delkin is committed to keep its eFilm PRO line of memory cards at the forefront of what is technologically possible for speed, storage capability and reliability.  This means photographers can keep shooting without having to stop and change cards.  They know the cards are rugged and will perform in extreme conditions, and speedily, too.  We’ve dramatically improved camera to card and card to computer transfer speeds.  How fast?  Don’t blink or you’ll miss it.”

Delkin’s performance upgrade is a natural, due to the company’s long experience in the digital camera memory market.  This results in unmatched engineering and operational expertise.  The company manufactures using the best component materials available, such as Single Level Cell flash instead of the cheaper Multiple Level Cell flash most other companies rely on.  This results in the unparalleled performance Delkin has long been known for.

The PRO line of 150X CompactFlash cards will begin shipping to Delkin’s USA and International network of resellers and distributors in mid-October.  Delkin will upgrade the entire line of eFilm PRO CompactFlash cards to the increased performance rating at that time.  They will also be available then for sale to consumers at the company’s website, www.delkin.com
