One of the UK’s top portrait photographers has thrown down a unique New Year challenge: ‘Come and spend an hour photographing latex-clad professional models in central London for just £10.’
Five times UK Master Photographer of the Year and current SWPP Glamour Photographer of the Year, Damian ‘Big Dog’ McGillicuddy is offering limited places to aspirational photographers at the exclusive event – to be held during The Societies (SWPP) Convention week at the Novotel, Hammersmith
Explained McGillicuddy: “Thousands of photographers will be visiting The Convention in January but only a selected few will get the chance to learn new glamour-shooting skills at this one-off event on the evening of Friday January 15.
I am planning to run three separate hour-long shooting sessions from 6/30pm that night in purpose-built studios at the hotel’s Planet Suite - straight after my four hour ‘Superclass’ workshop.
Delegates will be able to relax with a beer or glass of wine, practise their shooting skills, fire off any questions they have about photo-techniques and browse a range of latest lighting products I will be showcasing, including the Elinchrom Ranger Quadra battery flash system and a unique McGillicuddy-designed collapsible beauty dish product.”
He added: “It’s an invitation to come and have a beer with the ‘Big Dog’ – but spaces will be strictly limited and available on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis only.
Interested photographers need to email me for an invitation at info @damianmcgillicuddy.com.
“If you’re planning to be at this key Convention on the Friday, why not stay on in the evening and learn how to ‘shoot sexy’ with a team of stunning latex-clad supermodels?”
The Societies Convention will be the biggest photographic convention Europe has ever seen with one hundred and fifty seminar speakers and two hundred and fifty imaging industry exhibitors showcasing latest imaging products and services
