Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 Receives DIWA (Digital Imaging Websites Association) Gold Award - “A Proper Alternative to a DSLR”

Panasonic is pleased to announce that the DIWA (Digital Imaging Websites Association) honours the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF1 with a DIWA Gold Award. The prestigious DIWA Awards are issued on the basis of scientific test results from the DIWA Labs and evaluations on more than 200 different criteria carried out by DIWA members.

The GF1 takes its place as the third model in the revolutionary G series of digital interchangeable lens system cameras based on the Micro Four Thirds System standard. The ultra compact and lightweight GF1 also features brilliant image quality while breaking more new ground with HD movie recording capability. DIWA acknowledges this advanced system camera as a proper alternative to a conventional DSLR
