Akvis are pleased to announce the release of Akvis Enhancer v.9.0 for Windows
and Macintosh. The program allows correcting underexposed and overexposed photos
and combining several shots to create an HDR image. Version 9.0 presents a new
mode that makes the program yet more useful for correcting photos. The new Focus
mode brings blurred photos into focus. It is possible to improve sharpness on
the whole image or accentuate only a part of it. Upgrade for registered users is
free.
Akvis Enhancer is image enhancement software that helps you improve detail on
photos no matter what was the cause of the problem: poor/excessive lighting,
motion or bad focusing.
The software offers three modes that can treat each problem separately:
The program is available in two versions – as a standalone application
and as a plug-in to a photo editor.
The plug-in version of Enhancer has only Enhancer and Focus modes. It
supports Photoshop batch processing that allows applying the same settings
to a series of images. The plug-in version is compatible with Adobe
Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Corel (Jasc) Paint Shop Pro, Corel
Photo-Paint, Ulead PhotoImpact, etc.
For a free trial, Akvis offer 10 days of fully functional use. Further
details are available at the website. http://akvis.com/en/enhancer/download-photo-enhancement.php

Photo Quote: There is no art which affords less opportunity to execute expression than photography. Everything is concentrated in a few seconds, when after perhaps an hours seeking, waiting, and hesitation, the photographer sees the realization of his inward vision, and in that moment he has one advantage over most arts - his medium is swift enough to record his momentary inspiration. - Sadakichi Hartmann
