RedEyeBot red-eye removal software from FirmTools

08/04/08

FirmTools have announced the release of FirmTools RedEyeBot, brand-new software to remove the red-eye effect from digital pictures completely automatically. Operating in batch mode, FirmTools RedEyeBot processes hundreds of images in just minutes, providing full backup and restore capability.

FirmTools RedEyeBot allows removing red-eye automatically from a bunch of digital pictures. The red-eye reduction tool scans the entire collection of digital photos or any part of it, detecting and removing red-eye completely unattended. Full backup and restore capability allows you to roll-back any image to its original state with a single click.

The red-eye effect appears on film and digital photographs when taking pictures of human faces in the dark with a built-in flash. The flash works too fast for the pupil to close, causing the bright red reflection deep inside of an eye. The red-eye effect causes people to look unnatural on photographs. Removing the red-eye effect greatly enhances the appearance of faces in pictures.

It's no fun opening and editing each and every digital picture manually from the hundreds of images shot with a flash. There are various tools on the market that claim to reduce the red-eye effect, but the majority of these tools require opening images one by one and selecting the areas that suffer from the red-eye effect.

FirmTools RedEyeBot removes the hassle of manual red-eye reduction once and forever! Processing hundreds of photographs is a matter of just minutes thanks to the ability of FirmTools RedEyeBot to detect human faces and red eyes.

All images can be processed at once by specifying folders or selecting a set of images for red-eye reduction. FirmTools RedEyeBot processes the selection quickly and efficiently no matter how large it is!

Every once in a while, the original photograph makes you happier than the corrected one. Even though this does not frequently happen, FirmTools RedEyeBot backs up each processed image for easy one-click restoration. If the result is not completely satisfactory, a simple click of a button returns the original image.

For those who prefer manual control over the process, FirmTools RedEyeBot provides an easy way to remove the red-eye effect by manually defining an area that contains the red eyes. After that, FirmTools RedEyeBot processes the selection and removes the red-eye within it automatically.
