Digisky - the new exposure meter from GOSSEN

28/09/10

GOSSEN presented the new DIGISKY at Photokina, a new compact high-precision exposure meter with numerous innovative features.

All over the world, it is the first - and at present the only – exposure meter that is equipped with a TFT-LCD-colour graphic display.

DIGISKY is the new model in the GOSSEN range of products. Regarding technical details, design and handling, this meter has specifically been developed for the requirements of professionals and for enthusiastic amateur photographers.

DIGISKY is suitable for the precise measurements of flash light and ambient light, as well as for measurements in studios and outdoor shootings.

The first exposure meter with colour graphics display The use of a big, bright and powerful TFT-LCD graphics display is a world novelty on
the market for exposure meters. Even in dark ambience all measuring values may be read clearly and due to the well-arranged menu structure, all information may be seen at a glance.

Variable Display Options All measuring values may be indicated in full, ½ or 1/3 f-stops. A retractable diffuser permits to switch-over between flat and spherical 180° measurement characteristics.

Innovative Concept of Operation DIGISKY supports an efficient workflow in photography by its easy-to-use one-hand operating concept. The ring controller permits a quick selection of all standard measuring functions in the menu. Even functions for special tasks may be set
individually by means of three operational profiles, which may be configurated and saved according to the photographer’s requirements.

Radio Contact to Flash Lighting By means of radio contact, the DIGISKY may also control the studio lighting. Up to 4 groups may be selected and triggered on 8 different radio frequencies.

Flat and Easy The DIGISKY is very easy to handle due to its compact dimensions (only approx. 139 x 66 x 15 mm) and to its light weight.
