Hahnemuehle Bamboo 265 and Bamboo 290 FineArt Inkjet Paper

Hahnemühle FineArt GmbH successfully launched into the year 2008: The company won two Creative Impulse awards at Paperworld in Frankfurt. The new bamboo papers and the environmental initiative Green Rooster from Hahnemühle received the awards from the international creative industry.

The Frankfurt Fair in cooperation with the German magazine HobbyArt annually grants the innovation award Creative Impulse. The innovative bamboo papers Bamboo 265 and Bamboo 290 won 1st place in the category Creative Product of the Year. Hahnemühle, as a traditional artist paper manufacturer, created both papers from bamboo fibres, a rapidly renewable resource: Bamboo 265 for universal use as a high quality paint and drawing paper and Bamboo 290 as the world's first digital Fine Art paper made of bamboo fibres for premium inkjet prints. Traditional artists as well Fine Art specialists and photographers are very excited about these natural white, warm-tone artist papers that present such a fine, tactile surface texture.

Hahnemühle´s environmental initiative Green Rooster was granted as the marketing action of the year. This international project was granted the award for its commitment and a wealth of innovative ideas. Hahnemühle will donate a fixed amount from sales proceeds of bamboo papers to environmental projects. Customers and other interested parties can participate actively in the Green Rooster initiative by voting for their favourite projects on the multilingual website. There is also the possibility to actively support this environmental initiative financially - more than 20 Green-Rooster Partners have already done it!
