PMA ’08 is where jill-e designs – which makes high-fashion, highly
functional camera bags and accessories for the serious female
photographer – is displaying a broad array of its camera bags in new
sizes, designs, colors and combinations, the company announced today.
Those new offerings include:
Visitors to the Photo Marketing Association trade show, Jan. 31-Feb.
2, Las Vegas Convention Center, can find these stylish, sturdy new
members of the jill-e designs portfolio on display alongside the
company’s existing line of bags and accessories in Booth U259 (upstairs,
South Hall). jill-e designs also is exhibiting selected products at
Sneak Peek, the special PMA-sponsored press event taking place today at
the convention center.
“We’re rolling out our very best for the biggest photo event of the
year,” said jill-e designs Owner/Partner Jill Dorn. “With our new
styles, colors and designs on display, we expect that our booth will be
one of PMA’s ‘places to be’ for all the photo retailers who want to
attract the growing numbers of female photographers who are serious
about their craft and their image, by offering new and exciting photo
accessories designed exclusively for them. jill-e designs is continuing
to expand its product portfolio to satisfy the broadest possible range
of wants and needs expressed by professional and advanced amateur woman
photographers.”
The company’s newest products will be available this spring and summer
on the jill-e designs web site and from the company’s growing global
network of retail photo stores and dealers, Dorn said. She said jill-e
designs is on track with its business plan to steadily expand its
product portfolio, including new lines that take the company into new
but related market segments, and its worldwide distribution network.
jill-e designs employs designs, colors and materials that take essential
photographic accessories far beyond the traditional male-oriented
offerings, the company said. For example, professional camera bags
typically have a large number of compartments and a large amount of
padding to protect cameras and lenses, but they’re composed of nylon or
canvas – plus they’re utilitarian in appearance and usually black.
Camera bags from jill-e designs, on the other hand, incorporate the
padding, protection and other attributes found in the best professional
bags – but they’re created from such materials as leather and suede,
designed with the flare of stylish purses and carry bags, and available
in a variety of fashionable colors. In addition, they incorporate
features important to women, such as additional pockets and a detachable
personal pouch, jill-e designs said.
Information on all available jill-e designs camera bags and other
accessories, as well as a complete list of specialty photo shops,
dealers and web sites in the growing jill-e designs retail network, can
